Aesthetic, it’s the name of the game. The prettier the profile on your social media, the higher the interaction rate. The colors, layout, and emotional resonance can make or break it.

A distinct and consistent Instagram aesthetic is not only visually appealing but can also significantly improve brand recognition and business success. Wouldn’t a more appealing page communicate your brand’s voice and personality more than a bland one? You want to stand out in the rainbow, not fit into the sea of grey. A great aesthetic will also help your followers recognize your content when it appears in their feed.

Things to take into mind when creating your page

  • Complementary colors

a.) Red & Green, Blue & Orange, Yellow & Violet

      2.)Layout your content

a.) See what fits best with what. When people migrate over to your page, your grid

should present the best layout for your page.

      3.) Know your filters!

Too cold or too warm. The line between poetic and poor is thin. If you post a warm leaning/fall filter in the middle of summer, it may not get the response that you want. So be conservative with your filters.

Stay True to Yourself and Your Brand

Don’t feel obligated to imitate the style of another person or brand. Create your own or reflect the personality of your brand on your social feed. Dive into what makes you unique and run with it. This is what will set you apart and set you apart from the crowd.

Hopefully, these guidelines have given you some ideas on how to go about creating a “pretty grid.” Our biggest piece of advice is to not take it too seriously. At the end of the day, your Instagram does not define you or your business, and your followers will grow based on your authenticity.
