“Not Everyone Can Die First”- that is the logline for the newest film, “The Blackening”. Come see Fanbase Correspondent, Noah Washington as he sits down with stars, Melvin Gregg, X-Mayo, and Dewayne Perkins as they discuss the film while playing a little game of their own.
“The Blackening,” follows a group of college friends as the reunite for their 10 year reunion during Juneteenth weekend in a secluded cabin in the woods (sounds like a great plan right?). They are then thrust into a series of trivia questions based on Black culture.
A resounding commentary on Black culture and the state of Black culture in horror. The Blackening is every bit as hilarious as it is shocking. Be sure to check it out in theaters today.
