Stephanie Tejada (Aka @stephanietejada), has dipped her toe in a multitude of different creator opportunities that show a variety of her interests! She has had a very successful career, ranging from her time on the hit TV show, “Bad Girls Club: Season 16 Social Disruption”, to her own successful podcast, “We Don’t Give A.F.”!

In this interview, Stephanie gives Fanbase the full history behind what led her to content creation and how her talents have allowed her to engage with her own following. She also believes in content ownership, and getting rewarded for her awesome content, which Fanbase fully supports on its platform.

Her journey is an interesting one, as it all goes back to her days in Orlando, FL. She originally started paving her career through modeling, however, it was a scouting that completely changed the trajectory of her calling for content creation. She was discovered by one of the Pulse Nightclub members, and was invited to be a go-go dancer. “Pulse was one of my first go-go gigs, and then I just really fell in love with the entertainment industry. You know, I’m in my 20’s at this point, and I get to party for free, my friends get to party for free, and I’m getting paid to be like the mascot of the club. So that’s how I fell into it, and still love dancing to this day!”, she shared. Sadly the Pulse Nightclub is no longer open, due to the tragedy that happened back in 2016, where 49 people were shot/killed by a mass shooter. Thankfully Stephanie was no longer working there at that time, but lost many friends during the attack. Her cousin actually owned a food truck that frequently served food in the club’s parking lot, but for some reason he got a bad feeling on that specific night and decided not to attend. Crazy coincidence!

Following her time as a go-go dancer, Stephanie was eventually cast as a cast member in the sixteenth season of the iconic show, Bad Girls Club: Social Disruption! This specific season revolved around content creators on social media, which made her the perfect fit. “I was already known on Instagram for doing sketches, skits, and characters. One of them had gone viral because Kevin Hart had actually shared it, which got their attention. So, the show had cast me to be in that season!”, she exclaimed. Stephanie was more of the “party starter” on the show, but she did confirm it was always a wild ride on set for every day that they filmed!

Passion for Content Creation

Stephanie never wanted to stop being creative, and once she saw social media on the rise she knew she wanted to use it to her advantage. One of the main reasons being that she wanted to stay connected to her fans. “While there’s a lot of internet trolls and negativity online, the positivity far outweighs it. I would get messages saying “oh my god your skits helped me get through depression” or “oh you helped me get through a hard time”. These responses motivate me, and I love spreading positivity. It really inspires me to stay creative because in a sense I’ve always kind of came up with characters in like mini-series, and now to be producing podcasts, I feel like it’s all played into different stepping stones in my career.”, she stated. Stephanie truly appreciates all the support she has received, and her following has inspired her to keep being her creative self.

Calling to Fanbase

Stephanie loves to get her content out to everyone through a variety of different social media platforms. She first came over to Fanbase when more and more celebrities had been mentioning the app. “I think it was B. Simone and Snoop Dog, that I saw, were on the platform. I thought to myself, this must be a legit platform if it has these kind of names on it. I always dip my toes in all the puddles, and I got curious. I liked Fanbase in how it was very seamless in migrating your content over, which is a very simplistic way in repurposing your content. I loved that automatically!”, she mentioned. Stephanie loves how content that may not be getting as much attention on other platforms, can easily be transferred to Fanbase (with the possibility to even earn more money for it)!

We Don’t Give A.F. on Fanbase!

The We Don’t Give A.F. podcast is a major source of content that is featured on Stephanie’s Fanbase page. She frequently drops full episodes of the podcast where her, and her co-host Jaclyn Passaro (another content creator). “We had been doing sketches/skits, and all kinds of content creation for years. We originally were going to do a live talk show, but that sadly got shut down during the pandemic in 2020. But we still wanted to continue with that idea. So we came up with a spoof talk show called, “A Sociopath & A Psychopath”. It’s like a real talk show, but we’re hosting it as these ridiculous characters. That show actually got a good response, and a lot of attention….but we wondered if people really knew who we were? We wondered if people really thought we were these crazy, gold-digging, and scamming women we portray ourselves to be. We ultimately made the podcast as a place where we could truly be ourselves!”, she laughed. You can actually watch multiple episodes of her podcast, which are currently available on Fanbase +.

Fanbase: a Platform Without Suppression

The one aspect that Stephanie enjoys the most about Fanbase, is how the platform doesn’t suppress any content. Stephanie knows that some of the content she puts out there, can come off as a little rowdy, and some platforms don’t allow her to post it due to their guidelines. “I think social media has turned into a place where people constantly worry about what others think. A lot of my sketches get flagged on other platforms, and that’s another reason why I like Fanbase! Those supposedly “sensitive” skits and characters are still on Fanbase!”, she remarked. This is something that Fanbase takes pride in, and we want to make sure our creators feel supported when they drop certain content.

The limits are endless for Stephanie, and we can’t wait to see what content she puts out next!
